The Healing Alternatives Festival in Ilkley is the latest incarnation of a long standing mind body spirit event at The Kings Hall and Winter Garden.  For many years the town played host to Ilkley Complementary Medicine Festival which was a major event in the Northern MBS calendar.  

Set against the incredible backdrop of Ilkley Moor which boasts extensive neolithic history & several stone circles most notably The Twelve Apostles, the town also has a history as a Spa Town: A place of healing, relaxation and rejuvintion.    

The festival venue is a beautiful historic setting conveniently located opposite the train and bus station.

So what's it like to attend this event?
This vibrant event has three elements

1. Exhbitors and retail
Come along and browse some of our stands,  book a holistic therapy taster-  for instance a Thai massage, Bowen session, reiki treatment or reflexology theres lots of choose from.  Perhaps you'll book a consultation with a reader or a psychic medium.  We have a number of wellknown readers who often offer special show rates.  We have beautiful retail including books, gifts, jewellery, natural skincare and cosmetics and crystals and much more all accessible with any entry ticket for as little as £4.

2. Short Workshops
Attend as many short workshops as you like over the weekend with your Premier Ticket.  Perhaps you'll join a sound bath, a meditation, breathwork or a dance or yoga workshop or maybe you'd like to learn about astrology or Bowen technique for as little at £7.50 for the day. Of course with your Premier ticket you'll get access to all of the stands and exhibitors.  Details of these workshops will be published around a month before the event.

3. VIP  Experience - SPOTLIGHT Workshops
Perhaps you're looking for a more indepth experience. Our VIP ticket gives you just that with access to our exclusive extended spotlight workshops as well as access to all our short workshops and to the whole event.
